The cost of incorporating your business in the UK will increase from May 1, 2024, as announced by Companies House earlier in the year. It will affect the incorporation and registration of all kinds of UK companies. The basic cost of incorporating a company will rise to £50 from the current £12.

There will also be new fees for setting up overseas entities (£234), change of name (£20 for paper or £33 for digital), voluntary strike-off (£44 for paper or £33 for digital), and other incorporation services provided by Companies House. The fees charged by Companies House cover the cost of the services delivered.

A complete list of the new fees is contained here.
